What is HygO
We would like to take this opportunity to present the HygO project and the partners Fraunhofer IWU, Texulting GmbH, Krenkel Abwassertechnik GmbH und Haver & Boecker oHG. The project is carried out within the framework of the funding program "Export Initiative Environmental Protection".
What are the benefits
The aim of the HygO project is to design mobile and cost-effective hydrogen-powered energy sources, so-called micro-grids, and to evaluate them in on-site practical tests. The micro-grids are intended to ensure a self-sufficient energy supply but also the energy security of industrial companies. In addition, the micro-grids are equipped with a water treatment that uses the Oxygen to provide clean water.
Partnership
As a result of the project, collaborative value chains and potentials are to be formulated, which will then allow marketing and economically sustainable implementation in Namibia and Germany.
